European Women’s Chess Championship

4/27/2024 – The Greek Chess Federation is hosting the European Women’s Individual Championship this year. The tournament is taking place on 18-30 April in Rhodes, Greece. The tournament is played over ten rounds according to the Swiss system. The top ten finishers will qualify for the next edition of the Women’s World Cup.

토너먼트는 스위스 시스템에 따라 10라운드에 걸쳐 진행됩니다. 시간 조절은 40수에 90분에 나머지 경기는 30분이며 첫 수부터 30초씩 증가합니다. 총 상금은 60,000유로이며 우승자에게는 10,000유로가 지급됩니다. 상위 10명의 결승 진출자는 다음 대회 여자 월드컵 출전 자격이 주어집니다.

The tournament is played over ten rounds according to the Swiss system. The time control is 90 minutes for 40 moves plus 30 minutes for the rest of the game with 30-second increments from the first move. The total prize money is EUR 60,000, with EUR 10,000 reserved for the winner. The top ten finishers will qualify for the next edition of the Women’s World Cup.
